Treat the wound, not just the thought.
PIMS's own trauma-informed adaptation of CBT. Live, capped at ten, accredited by PIMS and GIMP Malaysia.
Trauma-Informed CBT
Standard CBT can move too fast for a nervous system still bracing for danger. TI-CBT slows down. You learn to read trauma responses, build safety before challenge, and adapt every classic CBT tool so it works with a survivor instead of against them. This program was developed inside PIMS and you won't find it taught this way anywhere else.
- Recognise how trauma reshapes cognition, memory, and the body
- Sequence treatment so stabilisation comes before exposure
- Adapt cognitive restructuring for clients who dissociate or shut down
- Use grounding and window-of-tolerance work inside a CBT frame
- Spot and repair ruptures without losing the therapeutic alliance
- Write trauma-informed case formulations you can defend
- Pace homework so it builds capacity, not overwhelm
- Hold boundaries that keep both client and clinician safe

Your questions, answered here
How long is TI-CBT?
Fifteen live lectures, one a week, Mondays 7โ9 PM PKT, two hours each. Roughly fifteen weeks end to end.
Live or recorded?
Live on Zoom so you can ask questions in real time. Every session is recorded and yours for life.
What is the free Lecture 1?
The first lecture is free for everyone. Attend it live, see how the material is taught, then decide whether to continue. No card, no commitment.
Do I need a clinical background?
It helps. TI-CBT assumes you already understand basic CBT. If you're newer, message us on WhatsApp and we'll tell you honestly whether to start here or elsewhere.
What certificate do I get?
A PIMS certificate accredited by GIMP Malaysia as a professional skills-building qualification. Read the note below on what that does and doesn't mean for licensure.
How do I pay and what does it cost?
Pricing and start dates come by email the moment you register interest, then we walk you through payment on PIMS WhatsApp. Local bank transfer or international options both work.
Seats are capped at ten for a reason.
